Determinação de cafeína em diferentes amostras utilizando técnicas voltamétricas: uma revisão da literatura.
(Universidade Federal do Oeste da Bahia, 2023) Douglas Nogueira da Silva Batista; Jonatas Gomes da Silva.
Resumo : The concern related to the chronic ingestion of caffeine and its disposal in the environment has attracted great attention due to the risks to human health and ecosystems. The use of analytical techniques is fundamental in the study of caffeine as they allow to identify, characterize and quantify in different samples, in addition to obtaining important data for its monitoring. Voltammetric techniques are alternative analytical tools that have the advantages of presenting low cost, high sensitivity, good selectivity, short analysis time, among others. The present work aimed to carry out a review in the literature of studies that have addressed the detection/quantification of caffeine in pharmaceutical, biological, beverage and environmental samples, using voltammetric techniques. The analyzed period was between the years 2010 to 2022. From the analysis of the articles, an evaluation of the viability of the different voltammetric techniques for determination of caffeine in different samples simultaneously or not with other chemical species was made, demonstrating the versatility of the voltammetric techniques in the detection and quantification of caffeine in different samples.
